Samuel Granett
Chairman
Sam is the Founder of NorthView Advisors and is responsible for the overall business strategy of the firm. He is a seasoned Executive with skills in strategic planning and policy implementation.
With over 30 years of experience, he has worked at all levels of executive management.
While serving in the military, Sam received the Silver Star and Bronze Star for Valor. He holds degrees from the United States Military Academy and Harvard Business School.
Sam holds securities licenses Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 65.

John Lindquist
Principal
John is a co-founder of NorthView and has been at the forefront of its expansion since inception. John manages our firm’s administrative, compliance and operational needs. He began his career in the securities industry working on Wall Street and has a broad management, compliance, and operations background in both large and small company environments, providing a unique perspective in the practicalities of maintaining a strong, healthy and compliant organization.
John is fully licensed as a broker, advisor, investment banking principal and supervisor. John has additional training from the NY Institute of Finance and holds a degree in Finance from Iona College.
John holds industry licenses Series 3, 4, 7, 8, 24, 27, 53, 63, 65, and 79.
Paul Gorski
Senior Managing Director
Paul has over 25 years of experience identifying, analyzing, investing in, and sourcing both debt and equity for lower middle market private and small cap public companies. Paul also leads Northview’s principal investing business which has a focus on US domestic and global commodity trade finance, through a billionaire family office partnership.
Paul’s experience includes investing in both private and public companies as a former principal hedge fund manager as well as raising capital in an investment banking capacity. He has raised over $3B in total financings for companies around the globe. He has experience raising capital from bank and non-bank lenders, hedge funds, private equity, single and multi-family offices, private and public pensions, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, commodity firms, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
He is an active member of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), National Association of Pipe Distributors (NAPD), National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED), Copper Council, The Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association), and a number of other local and national organizations.
Paul received a BA in Management from Georgia Southern University and holds industry licenses Series 63 and 82.
JT Schroeder
Senior Managing Director
JT has nearly 15 years of experience in sourcing debt and equity financings and sell-/buy-side M&A for lower middle-market companies. He leads NorthView’s underwriting and deal team efforts designing and executing financing solutions for company clients in order to maximize value.
JT has arranged over $2 billion of debt and equity financings and M&A Transactions over his career. He has also acted in an advisory capacity on behalf of lenders during bankruptcies, reorganizations, and other restructurings.
He merged Northpoint Capital Advisors, an investment banking boutique he founded in 2010, with NorthView in 2018. Prior to founding Northpoint, JT worked in Zurich, Switzerland for a boutique investment banking firm and multi-strategy hedge fund focused on structuring privately negotiated investments in energy, metals and mining, and other commodity-based businesses. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and Commercial Finance Association (CFA) as well as other industry organizations.
He received his BA in Finance and International Business from Stetson University, and holds industry licenses Series 7, 66, and 79.

Mark Hoy
Managing Director
Mark has over 25 years of experience as an early-stage and lower-middle-market financial and operations executive across multiple energy and related sectors – upstream, midstream, gas marketing, downstream, clean fuels, tubular goods, and environmental services. His experience includes public and private capital raises, non-traditional capital (including SBA, USDA, and state tax credit financing), and M&A activities.
Mark provides NorthView and NorthView clients with fractional CFO, COO and Financial Advisory services, including financial analysis, strategic reviews (of personnel, boards, business plans, operations, and capital structure), undertaking and implementing organizational processes, business development / strategic partnerships, debt and equity raises, and M&A opportunities.
Mark received a BA in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA with Honors from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He holds industry licenses Series 7 and 66.

Judd Cryer
Managing Director
Judd has over 25 years of experience analyzing, investing in, and financing lower middle market private companies across multiple energy and related sectors – upstream, midstream, downstream, petrochemical, LNG, clean fuels, oil field service, energy transition technology, and environmental services. His experience includes public and private capital raises and debt placement. He has a successful track record in asset management, institutional and retail fundraising, financial analysis, structuring, and business development.
Judd received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He holds industry licenses Series 7, 65 and 63.

Ryan Henderson
Managing Director
Ryan’s focus has been OCTG, Pipe, and other Steel assets. His expertise includes understanding the quality, condition, utilization, capability and capital recovery market(s) for Drill Pipe, Work String, Production TBG, Conductor Pipe, Surface, Intermediate and Production Casing, Line Pipe and Transport Service Pipe. Ryan has held various positions as Manufacturing Engineer, Applications Engineer, Quality and Reliability Engineer, Sales Engineer, U.S. Operations Manager, Technical Sales Director – North America & Mexico, VP of Sales – North America & Mexico, as well as Executive Vice President & CEO for various Oil Field Service Companies covering the USA, Canada & Mexico.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Engineering at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) in Industrial Technology and a Master of Science Degree from ULL in Engineering Management, with an MBA and Operations Engineering focus. Ryan retired from the US ARMY with 24 + years of combined service as a Lieutenant Colonel – Infantry Officer, Airborne Ranger, and an Operation Iraqi Freedom II – III Veteran and Combat Leader.
Thomas McLendon
Director of Business Development
Thomas McLendon works in Business Development at Northview Advisors. His responsibilities include sourcing, assessing client potential and providing support during deal transactions.
Prior to joining Northview Advisors, Thomas has worked in real estate development along the Florida Panhandle. He has built an extensive network of landowners, developers and local authorities to help generate new growth opportunities. During this time, Thomas has gained valuable experience in developing solid relationships to bring value to clients.
Thomas received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. While pursuing his education, Thomas was selected to a NCAA Division II soccer team. Playing a team sport helped Thomas acquire a strong work ethic, leadership skills and ability to build authentic relationships is a vital role to the team’s success.
Aubrey Ethridge
Director – Business Development
Aubrey Ethridge is a Director with Northview Advisors. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, as well as supporting the transaction process.
Prior to joining Northview Advisors, Aubrey worked as an operator at Fouts Bros., a specialty and commercial vehicle manufacturer, for over five years. With Fouts Bros., Aubrey served as both a Fleet Sales Manager and subsequently Director of Operations. Through these roles, Aubrey gained valuable experience in creating and capturing value while faced with a dynamic and highly competitive market.
Aubrey received his MBA from the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech, and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Georgia College & State University. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Aubrey was an active leader within the student body. Aubrey served as President of his social fraternity, Treasurer of the student body, and received recognition in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” during his senior year.

Will Griggers
Director of Business Development
Will Griggers is Director of Business Development at Northview Advisors. His responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating potential client companies, as well as supporting the transaction process.
Will received his undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has a background in technology consulting as well as private equity. Will worked for a technology consulting firm that specializes in the transformation of manual business processes into technology driven, automated workflows. In this role, Will obtained a plethora of experience communicating with clients and understanding their pain points. Through these conversations, Will was able to create value for his clients by constructing technical solutions that would automate a customer’s workflow, as well as alleviate their pain points.
In addition to technology consulting, Will also interned part time, during his work as a consultant, at a private equity firm. At this firm, Will assisted in the creation of investor presentations, comps analyses, and financial models. This experience has played a vital role in Will’s transition from technology consulting to the Investment banking industry.
Bill Miller
Business Development
Bill Miller works in Business Development at Northview Advisors. His responsibilities include sourcing, assessing client potential, and providing support during deal transactions.
Bill received his undergraduate degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He then continued his education at Virginia Tech to receive his Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, & Instruction.
While pursuing his education, Bill also competed in wrestling. Bill competed as a heavyweight compiling over 95 wins and was a 4X NCAA D1 Qualifier. Bill was a team captain and was also a member of the SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Committee). After college, Bill spent two years as a high school educator before making his transition into his current role. His work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to build relationships plays a vital role for this team.
